Cell Engineering

The Effect of VEGF-A on Developing Lung Epithelial Cells

I took a course on cell engineering to explore different passions of mine to see what I would enjoy continuing in the future. I was able to learn a lot of cell engineering techniques, some of which I use in my research lab. I also was taught through multiple case studies which really put into perspective what this path would involve. This course included writing our own research proposals (linked below) with a small group of students and very closely resembled what the first steps of creating my own research project would involve. While I really enjoyed the material, it taught me that this path is not one that I would solely want to pursue.
