ABME

During my sophomore year, I applied to join ABME and was accepted. Since then, I have given tours and answered questions in information sessions to prospective BME students, volunteered at blue and gold days, and helped the biomedical engineering department in any way possible. Through ABME, I was also able to become a tour guide for the College of Engineering. I fell in love with UD and BME, so being able to share my experiences and help people make one of the biggest choices in their lives is such an honor. Being a tour guide also helped me work on my presentation skills because not only do I have to memorize and recite facts, I now have to do so while walking across campus. I also have given tours to a wide variety of people that has taught me to be ready for anything and to go with the flow. You never know what questions people will ask you and the biggest thing I try to do is be as honest as possible with everyone.
